Jacket // Hat
This knit jacket is my first piece of clothing to come from SheIn. I have always looked at their website but wasn't sure about what to order since they are an international company, so when they reached out to me for a collaboration I was pretty excited! It was the perfect opportunity to see what their clothes were like.
I was pretty impressed with the quality of this jacket. All of the pearl beading was secured to the jacket, it's pretty soft and looks like a much more expensive jacket but it's only $26! I would say my only con would be that there were a lot of loose strings that were coming from the sleeves that I had to cut off, but other than that I'm extremely happy with this jacket and will definitely order from SheIn in the future. I definitely recommend checking them out, you just can't beat their prices!
What I love about this jacket is that it's great for work, church, or when you want to dress up an outfit. It's even a piece you could wear transitioning into spring.
I also recommend following them on Instagram! They post a lot of content which gives you more ways to see how their clothes look and fit. @sheinofficial

It's been a full year (and a day) since I last blogged about my makeup routine, so I thought it would be a good time to update you all on all the products Ive been using. Some haven't changed, but Ive actually been using a lot of different products lately and brands that I haven't in the past. Keep in mind I have oily to combo skin, so most of these products are for that skin type!
Before I get started, It's important to know that in order for your makeup to look good, you need to first make sure you're taking care of you skin. Washing it twice a day with a gentle cleanser, moisturizing and protecting your skin. I can do a full post on my skin care routine if that's something you all would like to see.
Now onto the fun stuff...
Face
My primer + foundation routine has completely changed from the last makeup post I did. I use Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation because it was developed for the TV and film industry (I work in broadcasting so I need good on camera makeup). I typically apply my foundation with a beauty blender to create a flawless, natural looking face. For primer I use Diorskin Forever and Ever and I don't think I'll use another primer again!
Under Eyes
For the under eyes I've been using this concealer. It is the best concealer I've ever used and has a lot of pigment, so a little goes a long way and it is super brightening! I blend mine with a damp beauty blender then set it with this translucent powder.
Contour/Bronzer
I recently switched to Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronzer Perfect Tan and it is so beautiful. It is natural looking and great for carving out your cheeks and adding color to the skin. It's a little on the pricier side but you get so much product that to me, it's worth the splurge.
Blush
This is the blush that came in Sephora's birthday gift this year and it's a great color for anytime of the year. It goes on smooth and lasts all day. It's in the shade "Paaarty".
Mascara
I have been using this mascara since it came out and I haven't put it down! I think it's the best mascara there is, a must-have mascara! I always keep a drugstore mascara on hand to use as a second coat on my lashes. I usually go for anything Covergirl.
Eyebrows
The term "on fleek" is how I want my brows to look. That's why I use this brow definer (in the shade Chocolate). I outline underneath my brows and then fill in the rest, using the brush on the end of the pencil to brush out the hairs.
Finishing
The last thing I do is set my face with another powder and setting spray. This powder is another product that's great for television or anything on-camera related. I wear the shade Medium! I also use a face setting spray from time to time, I really recommend this one.
My makeup routine is the most frequently asked question I get on Instagram, so maybe I should start sharing about it more?! Let me know what you all think! I would to do more beauty posts like these.
I decided to narrow down my favorite purchases and beauty products of 2017 for you all! All these items are worth the price and are all great quality.
Most Worn Items
Shoes: I've been wearing both of these shoes more than any other pair. These OTK boots are so comfortable and look good with so many outfits. These Nike sneakers are my favorite casual tennis shoe because of how comfy and trendy they look.
Dresses: This black bodycon dress is one of the most flattering pieces of clothing I own. Ive worn it alone and with a sweater- it's easy to transition this dress through different seasons. The velvet midi dress is a favorite of mine because it is the cutest $8 dress I've ever seen lol.
Leggings: I live in these Zella leggings. Hence the name "Live In Leggings", because you will literally be in them all the time.
Mom Jeans: These jeans are very flattering and the best priced Mom Jeans I've found.
Crossbody Purse: I love having a small bag to carry when I'm running errands- this bag is trendy and holds everything I need.
